What really grinds my gears about all of these next gen Madden's are how horrible the QB Animation looks. It's like watching my grand father throw a football. It looks like something out of Leather Heads....Turrible, just turrible. EA needs to copy off of 2K with the signature style, and copy the actual movements of each QB in the league. That would win me over.

I for one will be buying Madden 09 for the DS... have you guys seen the ultra-realistic sim stats that were posted?!?

I'll probably get the PS2 or Xbox version as well. I love the much deeper franchise, the defensive matchups, slider tweakability, more camera angles, better skill drills, and the various other things not added to the Next-gen Versions yet.

Unfortunately they won't be releasing it for the O.G. XBOX, I just hope the PS2 version is compatible with the 80 gig PS3. I totally understand what you mean about the deeper franchise. I hate the load times on the XBOX 360.

I'll probably just stick with 08 on the ps2. I doubt very seriously 09 well be that much of a upgrade. I thought 08 was barely worth the upgrade from 07, and in some ways it wasnt.

Actually, it will be on original Xbox.

Great point, you can probably get roster updates for the games anywho, thanks for the great suggestion.
