Celebrations squares not in demo?

Some vids of the game show, after scoring, there is a blue box in the endzone showing the player's certain spots that trigger certain celebrations. In the demo, I don't see this after I score. I'll just run to random spots and press "Y", to trigger a celebration.

For those who have the actual game, after you score, does that blue box pop-up or is it like the demo where u just run in the endzone to a particualr area and press "Y"?

Personally I think the blue box in the endzone thing looks cheap. I don't need a box telling me if I go "here", I'll do this particular celebrations. Personally, I'll just like the fact of finding out on my own what spots trigger what. It's not in the Demo and I like it that way(adds to the realism)...maybe it's a option to turn it off or something, I hope...

I'm 90% sure I have seen videos of the retail copy where there are the blue boxes

Yeah, I'm seeing it to in the vids. But in the DEMO, there is no blue squares at all, which is nice. Maybe there's a option to turn it on and off...Hopefully that garabe is off by default.

I've come to the conclusion that the '09 demo is the WORST possible way to advertise the game.

That demo, besides the TRON test with Hologram Madden, is just Madden '08, with LESS stuff to demonstrate.

No commentary, no defense...


Why bother? Most people skip right over the goofy Tron stuff.

Where did you get that info from?

I'll answer that for ya, as one of the developers stated before. Not sure who but they said they can be turned on or off as it was a request at a community day.
