Wow. Quite a lot of words in the first post.

I give him a D for composition, but an A for use of smilies.

I don't disagree that ANY football game or sports video game in general could use more of an IMMERSIONfactor. I'm not even going to bring up previous football games by other manufacturers (

I just did) but they did a good job with IMMERSION.

Maybe start with the Super Bowl or Playoffs and work their way down would be a good way to do this. If you make it to the Super Bowl, it should be something special.

moegames, great post dude. We need to make EA understand that we don't just want a ''football game'' we want ''the NFL experience''.

Did you see my post on page 1? I posted about the crowd actions/IQ. I hope this is the next big improvement for the Madden franchise.

May I add or stress the TV Broadcast view....
Since Madden 09 has added CPU vs CPU I feel that Sideline View is a must...
How does Madden allow a "behind the Quarteback view" when in Cpu vs Cpu?

Couldn't agree more with Moe and the whole immersion thing. Tiburon does that and the game instantly becomes 100% better. I got a feeling though that they already make so much cash off the game that they don't feel the need to make it better. Every year they come out with little half steps forward, instead of giving us what we want, and it pisses me off.

I agree and still enjoy the features on 2K5. Still the gold standard. With the ESPN name behind it, this should be a no brainer. The 09 looks like big steps in the same direction. Kudos. Come on Tuesday!
