I don't know if this is a good topic for this board. I hope this thread doesn't go down the wrong road.

I would like to know if the community leaders could help us convey to EA that some of the "85" new features in this years game are low on some of our list. And some of what we want is still a long time coming. Maybe we can meet in the middle for next year.

This thread is just to compare current features in Madden 09 Vs. what we have been asking for over the last 3 years.

What we got Vs. What we want.

1. Real looking grass Vs. Players that run with realistic animations.

2. Weapon Icons Vs. Real time player progression (ie. true game fatigue)

3. Progressive IQ level Vs. Accurate gameplay sliders for both Off and Def, CPU and Hum
I think the jury is still out on this one though.

4. Backtrack Vs. CPU AI that learns and adjust to human tendencies.

5. Better lighting Vs. 100% accurate uniforms including all alternates.

6. Virtual Training Center Vs. Better franchise offseason
What happened to the mini games that we would use to rehab a player or like in (PS2) NCAA 09 where you can practice for your upcoming opponent to gain team bonuses.

If I'm wrong with any of these please post your respectful opinion. If I missed some (which I know I did) please add to the list.

I really don't understand this thread.

comparing grass to the way players run is 2 different things.....

Some of the threads on here lately don't make any sense, like the kid posting the achievments for the game and calling it not sim. WTH?

It's really pretty simple:On one side(the left side) he put what we got in Madden 09.On the Right side he posted what the users wanted.Get it?

I get it but the 2 comparisons are like night and day........

Should've said something like

Better weather effects vs weather effecting players on the field...

Thank you for reading and understanding my point. Maybe I wasn't clear enough but I thought the title covered it.

That's his point I think.The difference between what we wanted and what we got are like night and day.

Its a simple concept but a horribly implemented.
