Is the magnet hands bug still there? The one where two guys will be near the ball and somehow one of the guys catches it even though it wasn't truly aiming at his direction.

And tune it to 5:51.

Favre does a reverse pivot (the pitch is to the left) and he opens to the right.

The only problem is that Favre can't possibly see Thomas Jones breaking left and pitches it anyway.

The ball appears to suction left and slightly forward to Jones' hands.

Its nothing big (def not a game killer) but it just looks a little ugly.

The widescreen VGA glitch really sucks. I use VGA cables. I am going to be pretty pissed if I have to buy new cables to play the game.

I've discussed this before, but the problem here is actually a replay problem - this cannot actually happen in game (the hands have physical bones and the ball cannot pass through them).

However, in replay, we are sampling the animations at a lower rate (so we can record longer replays), so the animations interpolate and show things that didn't really happen. This is way more apparent in the EASW videos because those are sampled at an even lower rate...that's why you see those things like the ball not rotating or the player's legs not extending etc.

The one thing that is really bothering me (beside the lack of AI sliders), is the damn CPU running out of bounds. I thought I read this was being addressed, but in case I'm wrong...it really needs it.

Edit: I see it's listed as a *possible* for patch #2. I have to say it needs to be moved to a definite. It's not an occasional happening, it's something that stops nearly every CPU drive. I see it was called a "Ghost Juke", but this happens when there is no reason for the CPU to be juking. All alone, 5 yards in-bounds, with an open field in front of the ballcarrier, and they run out of bounds.

Interesting. Can you comment on the supposed "EA comeback" logic? I've always disliked that about Madden games in the past, is this finally gone in 09?
