The deep ball is a pretty play but does it occur as much as we think? maybe not.

in 2007:

Completed passes over 20 yards

Brady completed a pass over 20 yards once every 7 passes(1:7)
Manning was 1:6 completed passes
Brees 1:9 completed passes

Completed passes over 40 yards...

Brady......1:26
Manning...1:37
Brees.......1:55

so.....

86% of Brady's pass completions were LESS THAN 20 yards
84% for Manning
89% for Brees

guys that have the game......r u close to these numbers?

still trying to find ATTEMPTED passes...any ideas?

Those stats should stifle most of the sim players that are actually looking for arcade results.

Those are good stats. I consider myself more on the sim side and when I play, I rarely throw deep. Maybe like twice a game.

yeah...that's the true measure...BUT i can't find those stats anywhere

youre a great guy to find it -stats- but the reason there are too few posts in here is because the majority of the people that play the game are dumb lazy kids. it still is a video game, so I will have fun throwing a longer ball above the average- but not like the silly, greedy, myopic little cheesers
