I don't think I've taken a "day off" for a video game since I cut school back in HS to get Wrestlemania 2000 the morning it came out.

My last day of work was back in April. The summer has been mine until the 25th of this month when I go back to college.

I've had plenty of time for gaming and will be getting Madden tonight even though I heard franchise is broken.

Same here. I've thought about it few times but I've never actually done it.

I have on occasion worked some extra hours before a game release to be able to finish early on release day though. I do the same to be able to watch Thanksgiving football (Thanksgiving is in October in Canada so we work on the US Thanksgiving holiday) and the Daytona qualifying races.

taking vacation to play a video game...especially next gen Madden...wow.

Exhibit D as to why EA is still putting out questionable Madden offerings in year 4 of next gen.

What about us poor souls that where laid off and out of work? Though I have enjoyed off but now it's time to get back to work, too bad can't find a job!
