Blockbuster Rental: $8 for two weeks.
NFL HC 2009: $30 at Amazon/Ebay/Craigslist

or

Madden 2009 CE @ midnight: $90.00

I'm glad I was able to hold off. Blockbuster will have some Madden copies at 10A tomorrow (given the shortcomings of the franchise mode, and lack of depth/improvements year to year in Madden, 2 weeks should be sufficient time), and by next week, I should see some decent deals for NFL HC '09 on a popular Video Game resale sites.

Is there something about importing created plays from Head Coach over
to Madden 09? If so, how is it? That could make CE a consideration.

If not Head Coach will be less than $30 in Oct./Nov.

Blockbuster has the "no late fee" program that allows you to have an additional week at no extra charge.

I'm used to looking at the final totals of game rentals. So $6.99 + tax (here in Tx) comes out to a lil over $8.00

it is good to hear that Head Coach is a good game. The one released two years ago was just bad. I thought it was such a good concept, and fell short, that I decided to take a wait and see until some reviews were in.

Ya it essentially adds 30 plays, So for instance you pick the Seahawks in Madden right, then when you load your game in Madden it loads your 30 created plays, So in other words it adds plays to your playbook. the create a play is deep you can create Wishbone, Pistol anything its awesome, then dominate online in Madden!
