It was in all the NCAA's of last gen. For some reason the developers don't see a reason to ever add this in.

I seem to remember it WAS in the game this year but one of the devs was demonstrating it and it did not work so they nuked it for this year. I think they need to add this and user adjustable camera's to this years version in a patch or DLC.

These are two pretty major issues that would make this years game worth owning.

If in-game saves is a pretty simple thing for the developers to do, I say they should go for it. But I'm with Coach Bryant in that it is a feature that means nothing to me. In the games that have it, I might have used it once or twice. If it takes too much development time for it, I'd rather they spend it on something else.

I generally won't buy a football game unless it has in-game saves.

The PSP version had it last year, and I bought that one along with the Wii version (focus on mini-games and multi-player). Probably won't get any version of Madden 09 this season, as I don't feel that I've worn out 08 enough yet.

I just don't generally have the time to sit down and do nothing productive or responsible for over an hour (sad, I know). Thank the lord for the DVR, and I wish that more game companies would cater to busy adult gamers.

This is one reason, I think, that the Wii is continuing to be successful . . . it plays very favorably to busy people.

EA: IN-GAME SAVES ON EVERY VERSION, PLEASE!!!

PC version has had in-game saves for years. Surprised they haven't brought something so simple over to the next gen consoles.
