Man, I've been wanting for this for quite some time. I've mentioned it a few times on the boards how I wished Madden's difficulty levels were like 2k's where the sliders change as you change difficulty. Well, now they do and you can really customize the game. I remember the "Plan B" style of play from LG where you'd play offense on All-Pro and defense on All-Madden to make the cpu have a chance to move the ball. Well, with this new difficulty system you can set the sliders to reflect this by setting passing and running to 10 and pass defense and rush defense to 15. Want a difficulty that's theoretically the average of them all? Set everything to 7 or 8. The possibilities are almost endless.

It's been a long time coming.

Hate to disagree with you, but I feel it's broken.

Each slider should have meaning and these simply do not.
