I'm not waiting. I think the game plays well without the patch, and it will only be better with it. I'll probably start my franchise in the next day or two once I decide on my sliders.

It was released the 11th for PS3, and will be released the 14th for 360.

To answer the question, I'll wait until the patch to see what it fixes to decide if I will buy the game, and if it doesnt fix the franchise problems I'll be waiting until Madden 10...I havent had a Madden since 03, I think I can wait one more year

I won't wait...I will start a franchise for the fun of playing since HC has become my go-to for real franchise play. I like the Madden gameplay anyhow and if they do fix progression...well even better. I'm just going to enjoy and play the game because it really has improved from previous Maddens
