3 Pros & 3 Cons of Madden 2009

Pros:
- Challenging yet rewarding gameplay. (especially the running game)
- Amazing graphics and improvement in presentation.
- Cris Collinsworth! Need I say more?

Cons:
- No changes in Franchise Mode.
- Madden IQ is useless.
- Lack of CPU running game.

cons:

• no battle between DL/OL & CB/WR
• lack of presentation
• animation & models are under the potential of the 360/PS3

Pros:
+Graphics are really good, stadiums detailed, and I love the weather affects
+Human controlled offense feels really good and is a lot of fun.
+Presentation is good, Collinsworth is a standout, would definitely be even cooler if it could be upped even further with a real postgame and midgame show, but is definitely good now

Cons:
-Would really love to see more options with Franchise, whether online or off, maybe having the ability to do expansion teams, add a lot of the options of what Head Coach into the Franchise (though definitely make it optional), not having anything new is kind of a let down
-Defense is tough because of the robo QB and lack of CPU run game doesn't make it quite as much fun as it should
-Madden IQ is a good idea, but its functionality is in question. The tests at the beginning of the game really don't measure your ability at the different phases of the game that well.

pros:
1) love the fast gameplay!
2) new tackle/break tackle system feels cool.
3) great balance of fun and competitiveness w/o feeling cheap.

cons:
1)Boring franchise
2)little things that testers should find: can't reset in game subs, no wind (if i'm not mistaken, i don't think i saw it but ea usually has it) on the special teams playcall menu, cpu running out of bounds, etc.
3) OPTIONS!! there should be cpu sliders, more on/off toggles, and I can't believe you can't change your button layout - that's amazing.

Pros:
1. Gameplay- Smooth as silk, funnest football game i have ever played
2. Online Leagues- I like the flex scheduling, but the whole system could use some work
3. Commentary- Im not all that annoyed by hammond but he def. needs some work.

Cons:

1. Instability online- Far to many game crashes/freezes.
2. CPU Super QB- a minor gripe, the CPU QB has a exceptional reaction time...
3. Presentation/atmosphere. Madden team, All you have to do is listen to the people if you need help with presentation. for madden 2010, if you guys left the gameplay the way it is now and just build on what you have now, i would be as happy as a pig in S***

Instead of using EA Sports...they need to ditch that and go with ESPN, FOX, NBC, what ever overlays. I'm guessing it would have to be collinsworth's network. But seriously, Madden 1996 had and used the FOX presentation why have we regressed back to EASN?

Pros:

1. Graphics/animation are great
2. Running game is more realistic, albeit a little hard
3. Included most low profile rookies and FA rookies out of the box

CONS:

1. Robo QB: How did EA let this out the door knowing the CPU completes waaaaay too many passes? Fix this, and I'm happy and all is right with the world.

2. Lack of a CPU running game

3. Jay Cutler: The guy has diabetes, not anorexia. He's 230, but you made him look like DJ Qualls.

4. The OL/DL interaction sucks, and the D line disengages their blockers way too easily.

Agree with you @ 99%....but the animation (expecially running animation) must be fixed for 2010....
