I really don't use those reviews as a base to judge whether or not I should buy a game. I read them to help gather information.

I don't use that information to help make an informed purchase. That's what I have this site for.

But then after I read that, I took a look over into Gamespot's forums, and members had threads saying the same things as the article writer in IGN. I thought I'd stepped into the twilight zone. I was thinking to myself, "okay, maybe I'm the one with the problem here."

I don't know how anybody can say 09 isn't a big improvement visually... I don't know what more people could want. The lighting, the models... the way different weather/time/sky-cloud combos produce different looks... this thing is a graphical juggernaut.
