Not a fan of the auto drop back feature

I have been playing madden for a long long time. This is the first year I can remember there being a feature that automatically drops you back. I am used to dropping myself back and have been doing so for years. It was always automatic and I would know when to stop dropping back.

Now I haven't had anyone tell me online they think I drop back to far, but I realized after watching this clip how far I am dropping back now. This might explain the issues I have had with my passing game.

Loved the feature in NFL 2k5 (I know, that game is taboo 'round here) but I didn't actually know it was in 09. Although it is good to know that EA is starting to steal the good stuff from 2k5.

I am sure once I get used to it I will like it, but basically I have a little timer in my head, once it goes off I stop dropping back. This feature makes me drop back like 10 yards.
