Want to see the field degradation?

Interesting. You know I suggested the idea of having filters that can be isolated to certain parts, (i.e. isolated to the field, or players, or crowd, etc). If what you're saying is what's happening, then they're already doing that, now all they have to do is put the control of it in the end user's hands.

yeah. you can also see it when you challenge a play. it looks very nice. hopefully they tone this filter down (it also is responsible for the muted colors), and then we'll get the degradation in all it's glory.

all that being said, i don't know what's up with NCAA, the degradation is not there and no one seems to think so. they call it "realistic".

I just played a rainy game at Fed Ex and the uniforms steadily got muddier to the point that I could not tell the difference between teams which was a cool effect. I just ran away from the muddy guys who were chasing me. The problem was the field was still pristine like I was playing on artificial field turf. Was there a pig pen these guys were rolling in on the sidelines? Is field degradation something they're going to address in the next patch? Wait, is there a next patch?

I agree, this should be in the game.
I am very upset that they got the muddy uni thing right, but screwed up the filed thing.
all of the money they make yearly and they have no one that tests this stuff?

Same here.Played a game in light know with the Packers vs Broncos.Uniforms got dirty but the field was perfect.Rolling around in a Pig penIf its in the game its in the game

Why implement field degradation if you're going to hide it for most of the game experience with the filter? That makes NO sense whatsoever. I noticed it as well when I played in a downpour in Miami. The field and environment during gameplay was pretty dark and muted and then in the replays i'm seeing the field getting chopped up and it's so much brighter.

I'd like to know the reason for this filter.
