Broken Tackles Without Using Moves...annoying.
Yes it is beneficial when the computer grants you a broken tackle when you pressed no buttons, and pushed no sticks save one...the left stick. I find that more tackles are broken just by the good graces of the computer rather than a well executed spin or old fashioned lowered shoulder. When I say broken tackles I'm not in anyway refering to missed tackles. The best way to make a defender miss is to not use the button or right stick moves, but to use the left stick to go one way then cut back at the last second to fool human opponents. Computers are not so inept.
We all know that every person you play will not have the same ability to manipulate computer generated football players. But I feel that it makes many losses feel so cheaply taken from you because your opponent had better luck. I'm not saying luck doesn't exist. Luck plays a factor in every aspect of any competition. I do not feel, however, that an opponent that has a lower reaction time and inferior running instincts should be able to defeat you on a level playing field, if said opponent is not a better play caller than you.
This doesn't mean I am against upsets. It is in fact the total opposite. The god-like ablities of the Chargers' football players should be USELESS if the user does not manipulate the jukes himself.
