I posted this same thread the day of release and it had no answers.

I think you gotta go to the profile managment screen and load the specific profile to the controller.

You are player one. Take the player one controller and load the profile.

Player 2 uses their controller to load their profile in the same profile management screen. I dunno if it works but I just got that from what was posted in this thread

you can do it. just load your profile using the 1st controller. Then using the second controller get to the screen to load the 2nd profile. For some reason, only the 1st controller can actually select and load the profile. When you load the second profile and go back to the regular menu screen you should only see the 1st controller profile, but once you go to the play game screen the second controller should now have the 2nd profile. sounds confusing, I know, but it does work.
