Best Plays to use to counter the Crazy Blitzer!

It's pretty common to find people online that blitz on every play. What plays have you guys found that really punish defenses that blitz way more then they should. Some of the quick passes that should work haven't helped me yet.

Any advice?

Just call that quick pass audible if you aren't ready for it. Shallow crosses and WR screens can do some major damage.

Quick out passes kill blitzes.

I pick plays where the Tight End goes out toward the sideline - they're usually never covered on blitzes.

Easy yards.

You can also alter your protection schemes if you want to go vertically down the field. Since there will be man coverage on the outside. I've had a lot of success keeping my TE and a RB in to block when I know the blitz is coming. This will give me more time to find my receivers on the outside in mac coverage.

I couldn't tell you how to do in Madden, but IRL quick passes & screens usually do the trick. Picking up the blitz & running at it can produce big plays. And maybe try a streak, releasing it early.

Because of how poor the AI defense is, any TE out against man coverage is very profitable, and most blitzes, atleast heavy ones, are against man coverage.

Could just be my lack of skill, but trying to hit the RB out of the backfield hasn't worked at all with the blitz coming at me, maybe because I'm throwing off my back foot on the run. But it seems like the safeties or CB's come up like ROBO DB's when I try to set up the screen.

I guess I need to pass more downfield to the TE to get away from the oncoming blitzers?

Maybe try some shotgun plays to give you more room. And try keeping 7 men in to block for more time.
