well for me cause iam fortunate to have consoles and a gaming PC. The Next Gen Madden arent upto par with the old Gen madden, but Madden 08 for the PC was great!!!. It used the same player models and gameplay as the XBOX and PS2. It had every feature and even a feature that is missing on the next gen 09 Madden. Where u can tell a DB is play a WR more to the inside or outside, and the ability to make 1 db press and the other to back off. Nice when disqusing certain Defenses. Plus u can play it at 1920x1200 Resolution. LOOKED AWESOME AND FLOWED SMOOTH!

Didnt get the chance to play 05 on ps2, mine had the "wont read certain new games" problem, so i played 2k5. But, i would say 06 on xbox was probably the best football experience i have EVER had. LOVED the QB vision, played the superstar mode to death, and played franchise till i couldnt go any further. Simply the best football game since 04 on cube.

Right now I can't say, give me a couple more months but I can definitely say that this year's version is in the top three.

I think 09 for the ps2 is technically the best ever, but I still give the nod to 05 because after playing madden for the ps2 all these years, its lost a lot of its luster.
