Actually on Aug. 18th last year, sales were at 1.8 mil total, so sales are down.

Actually, I think it deserves more sales than Madden 08. I think Madden 09 is much better, not marginally better. Madden 08 was awful; I really enjoy Madden 09.

He's right. I just checked...Week 1 sales are down by about 71,000 units. The biggest drop was the PS2, which sold 546,403 copies in the first week last year and only 256,721 this year.

The XBox 360 sold 889,072 copies in the first week last year and 709,955 this year. HUGE drop there! That's what EA should be worried about. Must be all the angry OS members.

'yeap, i wasn't going to buy this year, but i did when gamefly took to long to send me the game. Next year I'm going to try to not buy either NCAA or Madden until the dynasty/franchise is fixed in them - the number of game killing bugs is ridiculous
