Extreme PS3 Slowdown

Game 1 in franchise mode with the Bears against the Colts.

7 minutes quarters with IQ on.

Vikings vs Colts in the Superbowl.

That's when it occurred for me.

When I try to play at the Colts online, I'm getting TONS of slowdown. Its unplayable.

- Bucs at Colts (Lucas Oil Stadium)
- We change quarters to 6 mins, and leave everything else the same.

Everytime I try to play with my friend, it slowdown to the point that it looks like a slideshow.

i have never had it happen in play now. and i have used the colts about 27 times online now and no problems with that at all.only in franchise but its very often!and like a lot have said just horribly unplayable once it gets to about the 3rd qrt. and if you play it out its freezes at the madden iq screen. and also when you do hit the PS button at that point cause it is the only way to get out the black PS screen flickers in and out and is choppy til you "quit game" and i have attempted to play with other teams in franchise mode had no problems except when i was vikings week 2 against colts and it started the slowdown.and its not just when you play against them so its not his "pre-snap animations"you dont have those when you are playing as the colts..agreed?

I've never seen this slowdown when playing the game.

Can you just go into a game with the colts in a new franchise from a fresh boot to get it to happen?

If not, what is everything you're doing between turning on the console and seeing the lag? (specific roster changes, changing playbook/uniform, loading franchise file, non-default franchise options, entering other game modes, etc.)

Ian it happens to me in play now mode, Colts vs Bucs at Lucas Oil Stadium everytime and it usually starts in the second quarter. The slowdown makes it unplayable and IQ has been on if that helps at all.

Same deal with me. When I try to play a friend online with Colts/Bucs at Lucas Oil Stadium slowdown usually starts in the 2nd quarter.

We both play with Classic Cam, and play on 6 min quarters unranked.
