I think signature animations only work in a general context.

I like to see animations that work with a players ability. Not just for the aesthetic value. Because as we get more and more involved in the latter franchise years it would be cool to scout looking for animations that fit your team. A quick release, or a deep thrower, strong arm etc.....

I don't need Tom Brady's animation but having different style animations for scouting would be an amazing step forward.

No. It was also in last year's Madden as well. The was a run type for a burner, a powerback, and a more regular speed back.

I absolutely want this in Madden, but let's be realistic. Have you seen the already existing throwing and running animations? The QB looks like he's throwing shot put. When you sprint for a breakaway run, it looks like the player is gliding.

Remember back in PS2 when we could choose if the QB could throw side arm or not, I wonder what happened to that

it's a little baffling how Madden is one of the last sports game franchises without signature player animations.

i hope some light can be shed on whether this is even a discussion within the madden team? if so, why hasn't this been implemented yet?

and to look into the future ... when can we expect this?

Well Ben looks like we are getting our player specific animations............... Oh wait thats for AFTER THE PLAY so we can see TO eat popcorn and Chad Johnson dance lke a jackA$$ WTF and you wonder why hardcore gamers think EA is a joke!!!!!!

hmmm interesting timing. to Ian's credit he did ask for player gameplay animations too.

i wonder if this thread influenced Ian's post at all? Not saying Ian never thought of player-specific animations, but I wonder if this put the issue on the forefront?

No I told him about QB throwing animations and here is his response!

PLAYER and TEAM specific animations.

- TO eating popcorn
- Chad doing the River Dance
- Brady walking off the field with his head down after blowing the perfect season.

You get the idea. :P

Oh and Tom Brady pointing. once again EA giving us pointless FLUFF THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GAME PLAY
