Why does there have to be weapons? Get rid of them and have ratings and signature animations dictate the performance of the players.

What a novel idea we have been telling EA for years.

EA what do you think...players playing their ratings. Yes I know, seems a little far fetched.

uh.

weapons only indicate a player that has surpassed a certain threshold in one or more of his ratings categories.

If you don't want to see the weapon icons turn them off?

Weapons don't do anything, they are visual aids... (cept for spectacular catch where its more likely to trigger certain animations)

No this isn't a petition as well, its me just voicing my opinion and seeing who shares it. And the weapons do do something, its listed in the "weapons key".

I thought the weapons were just a quick way of identifying a players best skills. You mean they actually do something? Is there a button I would have had to press to activate them?

no there isnt cause they dont do anything. only one that does ids the smart ones and that can be turned off.
