Won't let me sign my rookies!

I am in my first off season and drafted Pat White as my QB. I go to the screen to sign my rookies and it will let me sign every single pick except him! He was my first round pick. Has anyone else had this happen?

Yes, this has happened to me as well. Luckily it was during a test franchise. I selected James Laurinaitis in Round 1 and Ray Maualuga in Round 2. I couldn't click on either of them but signed all my others. Like i said though, it was a test when the game came out so i didnt save of course. Merriman, Laurinaitis, Maualuga, Phillips would be awesome though.

Okay, things just got even crazier. Progression did take place in my off season which I was happy about. I decided just to let Pat White go and then sign him at the start of the Pre Season as a FA. So I go into the FA screen to sign him, and for no apparent reason in the middle of the off season the Patriots released Tom Brady! The defending Super Bowl champs released their QB! He wasn't the only one though. Several other top tier players were released from their teams after the FA signing period! Has anyone seen this besides me?

Now to add even more baffling information to this, Rookie QB Tim Tebow is a 99 overall and the best QB in the NFL before even taking a snap! Wow, I guess I am going to delete this franchise and start completely over.

i had this happen to me as well. ironically, it was with pat white too. so i simmed the rest of the rookie signing and then magically he was on my roster at the start of preseason. fun, huh....

I tried that but he was released into the FA pool on mine.
