Is anyone playing Franchise and not freezing?

Im in the 3rd game of my 4th season with the Lions and i havent had any problems with freezing recently. It happened twice when i first got the game but thats it. i saw somewhere (maybe here) that if you mash buttons when going into the playcall screen it will freeze, so i stopped trying to hurry my playcalling and just let everything load completely and i never froze again after that. i havent had any of the other freezing as far franchise and stuff though.

we need to hear from more people who are NOT having a Franchise freezing problem.

There are more freezes as the years go by and eventually it just gets stuck. I made it to season 4 before it got stuck. I played the first 2 seasons and simmed the 3rd.

My season by season freezing:
Season 1. None whatsoever
Season 2. Freezes at the load screen while trying to manually train players.

Season 3. Multiple freezes while simulating the weeks (somehow I managed to get through it) and still can't train players. It also froze a couple times while trying to save.

Season 4. Freezes while trying to sim the first week of preseason. I had to sim each game individually in order to advance to week 2 however now it always freezes while trying to save and is officially stuck.

This game is the biggest joke ever. MLB 2K8 doesn't freeze this much and believe me that game has some freezing issues.

How many seasons have you gone through? 2 full (simmed the first season, played the whole second season). Played first game of third season the other night.
Did you train players? Not once.
Updated rosters? Yes.
Import NCAA draft class? Yes.

I'm playing on PS3 for this franchise and I have had only one freeze during the second season. I do not know if I'll continue with this franchise as the Free Agent bug has me completely discouraged. I plan on experimenting with the rosters and draft classes to prevent this bug.

In my third season I had Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Reggie Wayne, Reggie Bush in Free Agents, along with a few other low 90s to high 80s players.

1 Game into the second season not even a hint of freezing not once and i play pretty much everyday and also i started my franchise over last week because i had to update rosters so you could say almost 2 seasons

i think the only work around for the free agent issue is to turn off the salary cap for now. i did and the only good free agents were a couple of guys in the 80's who were all getting old except for Jason Cambell and Santonio Holmes who both ended up getting re signed by the teams that released them.
