Is anyone playing Franchise and not freezing?

Well, I've done a mix of playing and simming to year 4 and am in week 5 or 6 in that year. No freezes. I'm using massively edited rosters with CAPs. I don't manually train guys and don't import draft classes (due to all the complaints about rediculously high ratings). So far, so good. Now I don't know if it's an issue based more on how many games you actually play or how many moves you make or what. I'm controlling 4 Teams (Cowboys, Panthers, Patriots, Texans) and have multiple moves with the Panthers and Texans and only minor moves with the Patriots and Cowboys (Outside of standard resignings and replacement of retirees).

I feel really bad for those who are having the issue though. My buddy got to year 4 or 5 and started having some random freezes (no gamekilling lock up points, but some in-game and roster menu freezes). I don't know if any of this info helps at all, but there ya go

The people having freezing in Menu during franchise, saving/loading freezing are the ones that should post here. PM Ian if you are having this problem he might want a copy of your game file.

I had ZERO problems with season #1. I edited players, imported NCAA draft class, used the updated rosters from EA, and played on a mixture of both Myskill and Custom.

Then, the first preseason game of season #2 froze on the 3rd play of the game, at the play select screen.

Simmed to regular season, froze midway through 1st quarter at the play select screen.

ok, this sounds like "In Game" freezing which is supposed to be fixed by patch#2

Updated rosters? No

If this is true, then you just made my day! (I haven't read the thread about the patch yet).

I suppose I can play some more of my NCAA dynasty while I wait.

I added a poll.. so please vote. I think we can get better understanding of the franchise freezing issue this way, and see exactly how large of a problem it is.

I'm in season 2 game 13 coming up. No freezes so far.

I do not train players.
I do import from NCAA.
I have not edited any players.
