That's pretty much how it went down last year in reality. He was the #2 rated passer in the NFL and broke Steelers passing records, but was also sacked 47 times.

For those having difficulty running the ball........I think some people just haven't put the time in. I've played through 3 dynasty seasons so far and i'm able to run the ball. I usually average 100 or so yards a game, but there are days when I get stuffed. I use a custom slider setting that's based on my Madden IQ (all the specifics of which are either All Pro or All Madden level). You also need to put together a quality line. Alot of guys are strong in pass blocking and average in run blocking, and vice versa. You need to take the time to find quality O-linemen that are proficient in both.......regardless of what their overall rating is. Hit the right holes. It'll come. Use your slide protection and motion your FB and TE around to help if you're pulling a certain way. But the running game is fine IMHO.

I'd agree. I can run the ball and usually get around 85 yds. a game. And that with Forte on the Bears, who will probably do something similar this season since he's just a rookie (hopefully not worse). As for the bad blacking, the Bears O-Line is so terrible in real life, I feel like it is realistic, lol.

i really do love the running game this year but i also hate parts of it as well.

i love how u can break out of tackles and such but the blocking sometimes is downright awful. how can u not block the guy right in front of you??? u cant even run counter plays consistently because the DE on the side u are running to will almost always come free, therefore leaving ur pulling lineman to block him in the backfield. most of the time thats enough to ruin the play right there.

at first i thought it was the RAIDERS cuz thats really the only team i play with. the raiders o-line may be bad, but they are at least decent run blockers. now pass blocking, i know we stink lol.

I admit the interaction between the OL/DL is bad, but I don't see them breakdown in the manner that someone suggested in this thread. I have time to throw passes, at least as much time as one would expect. Sometimes I'm caught off guard by the blitz, sometimes I beat the blitz, and sometimes I get sacked due to an OL breakdown, but its more the exception than the rule.
