Best time to use the pitch?

To me it seems worthless i usually lose yards or only get a few. Maybe its just me, ill like to hear other peoples opinion tho.

I have scored a lot of TD's on it. Best to use if the defense has most of it's guys in the middle like they are going to blitz.

I LIKE TO USE IT ON THE GOAL LINE. TRY THAT WHEN YOU ARE ABOUT NO MORE THAN 5 YARDS AWAY AND THEN SLIDE YOUR LINEMAN TO THE DIRECTION YOU ARE HEADED AND MOTION OVER YOUR TIGHT END TO THE SIDE YOU ARE GOING TO RUN. WORKS REALLY WELL WITH A FAST RB.

Never even used it yet, and most likely won't use it. That's mainly a college play if you ask me, you rarely ever see laterals in the NFL. At least I guess that's what you're talking about isn't it, the new feature to lateral with the left trigger?

No when the QB gets the snap then pitches it to the RB

i find it to be a great play but only in certain situations.
1. always pitch it to the open field (if you're on the left hash, pitch right.)
2. it helps if the db's are in man on ur wr on the shallow side.
3. shift ur te to the side ur pitching to.
4. use the line shift to wide side (L2+ analog on ps3) so ur lineman all go to the side with space... this should mean the te blocks the mlb or lb running out. so if you run east to west till the space appears then go north... if ur lucky the safety is slow, ******** or in zone you might go untouched but sometimes u'll have to take him on near the sideline... if you know who he is it helps to get past (slow- just run, hard tackler- back juke shud see him fly by, weak- truck thru him).

5. best done with a player with gud speed and acceleration (lt, ad, mcfad, johnson, westbrook, parker....) that can get to the outside quickly.

or as said previously.. use on goal line situations.

Use a formation like I or single back with 2 WRs on the same side of the field, TE/FB on the other.

I keep a pitch in my audibles to use when I see the D is in man coverage. It helps to have a quick back too.

Run the play to the opposite side of the WRs and DBs. If you can get past that side's OLB and DE, make one good move on the S... gone for six.
