Just turn cap off. Makes i so draft picks are signed and a more realistic offseason. It really doesnt hurt the the "realistic" affect of offseason because people will still not sign with you no matter wut u offer if there is no interest level

what about the CPU...will they just sign everyone (ala the Yankees in MLB) bc there is no cap?

The only real solution for me has been to control all 32 teams. You can still let the CPU do a lot of the tasks. I make sure to do the re-signings and the draft for all of the teams. I like having the cap as it presents a challenge this year finally. There are some teams that even with lengthening contracts and such you still have a hard time signing their rookies, especially if you import your NCAA class as some of the rookies come in rated very high and demand big dollars. I have had rookies that wanted 8 - 9 million a year.
