Re: The Dolphins and the Wildcat Formation

EA can solve the problem by not only adding it to the dolphins playbook ONLY but by forcing a specific to team to use its own playbook

I would like to see EA create DLC for playbook updates throughout the season just like roster updates.

This would seem to be the most intelligent approach seeing as how NBA Live got player DNA and NBA Live 365 this year. With all of that added to NBA Live, Madden (the flagship) should be completely blown out in the next game with "living playbooks" updated regularly when new formations are used in the NFL, weekly roster updates (GREAT JOB this year EA!), coach philosophy updates/Head Coach DNA, etc.

I don't see how they can put so much into NBA Live and continue to ignore Madden when it comes to the strategy and authentic nature of the game. We'll see if it happens in Madden NFL 2010.

they have already used the two free patches they get...anything after that they have to pay for which i doubt they would do since they are now concentrating on 2010.

plus, i could be wrong, but i doubt adding playbook additions is something they could do with a patch...they might be able to include it in dlc but it is too late for that...

This is a great idea. Playbooks are obviously important. They should evolve during the season. Even one update would be nice.

The Wildcat is a significant part of Miami's identity this year. It's a shame that it probably won't be added until the next edition of Madden.
