do yearly awards affect progression?

like ROTY, MVP, getting voted to the Pro Bowl, good stat lines?

What judges it to increase or decrease player ratings?

Re: do yearly awards affect progression?

I simmed a year and I had Tramon Williams reach the Probowl as a returner and Nick Collins and Charlie Peprah reach the pro bowl. Neither went up but Collins and Peprah didn't have the mind blowing stats. Tramon had 90 tackles? Crazy, being a nickel back.
Also Rodgers had a fairly decent year 2900 yards, 25 tds and 9 int's, but he didn't progess but my back up Matt Flynn went up 4 points.
I saw regression of 1 and 2 points on a few players, not bad.

I rushed for 1,700 plus yards with Forte, he won MVP,offensive rookie of the year etc. He went to the pro bowl and won the MVP of that game and at the end of the day, he only goes up 3 points. His speed, ability, none of it increased.

That's ridiculous. I was really hoping for a bigger boost with the patch then that.

Oh well...

I did the same thing had the bears at 100% running ect. Forte rushed for 2400+ yards won all the awards and went up 2 points. I simmed the next season and he went up 4. So don't know.

I looked at some other teams players to see progression after two seasons.. Cutler was a 90 or so, John Carlson (Seattle rookie te) went from an initial 76 this season after two is a 85. Matt Ryan was a 90. I think Jonathan Stewart was like an 88 as well.

Craziest thing I did see was Peyton Manning no longer on the Colts heh.

EA is very incompetent when it comes to addressing actual gameplay. They may work 24/7 for online play but they undermine franchise. Sad.
