Re: AI Comeback was never removed from EA games

Let's be serious here for a minute. Imagine yourself in my shoes and Donavan hit's Reggie Brown on a slant and Urlacher goes to make a tackle (not strip) and he shakes him off, Brown pops him a big one and tries to wrap him up but shakes him off too. Next thing you know you have the whole freakin Bears team trying to wrap this guy up and all he does is shake them off. If that's not AI comeback then I don't know what the BEEEEEEEEEEP that is.

For those who said my defense sucked guess what? I play with my skills. My IQ is at 500 and my run defense is ALL Madden but my secondary is low so there's no reason why Reggie Brown would pull something off like this. That's proof there's AI Comeback.

Oh yea, btw... that never happens in real football. I would love and pay to see Reggie Brown do that against any team in the NFL. It would never ever happen. Not even the best receiver in the world can shake off that many tacklers.

i bet it felt really ****ty, im saying crazy stuff like that can happen in real life, it just looks so unrealistic in the game because of animations and other things allowing players to be in more of a position to make a play than they would be in real life, therefore when a crazy play like that happens it has to involve more broken tackles than you would see in a real game in which a crazy play happened.

Seriously, I call that a remarkable play by Reggie Brown.

Thats the beauty of sports. Sometimes the unthinkable, the unbelievable, and the impossible happen. And just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't happen.

i dont think Ankido is complaining that the Eagles came back and won the game, but the manner in which it happened.

How does Reggie Brown break 8 tackles en route to a game winning TD? WR's don't even break 8 tackles in an entire season let alone one play. And the timing of it all can lead someone to believe that comeback logic exists. I think Ian denies comeback AI on a technicality. They probably call it something else so LITERALLY its not "comeback ai".

i doubt he actually broke 8 tackles...i've seen some unrealistic plays on madden but i have never seen anyone break 8 tackles...

if this happened during the course of the game or if it was the user that had this tremendous play to come back and win, do you think we would be discussing it right now?

In sports sometimes the unbelivable, the unthinkable, or the "impossible" happens. Thats the beauty of sports. You never know whats going to happen next and what "treat" you may be in for.

I would have never thought the great defense of the Bears would give it 10pts in the last three minutes of the game and lose in OT to TB with the former Bear QB journeyman Griese at QB,either.

Sometimes, the unthinkable, unimaginable does happen as CB said.

Re: AI Comeback was never removed from EA games

There is no Comeback. But the AI does know when you are picking the same plays over and over again. I have played many many games and if the AI comes back it is my own fault.
