Madden has the flea flicker play.Video proof

I was playing against the computer,and they did this play.It caught me off guard.

As cool as it is it didn't appear to work even remotely like it should. Usually the flea flicker results in a deep pass to a hopefully wide open receiver....but not this time anyway.

It's hard to say after only seeing it once. It's not a high percentage play in the real NFL either. It can catch people off guard, but usually if DB's see that you have a WR or two still going deep after a handoff, they stick with their man (In man coverage). It primarily creates one on ones, or maybe an open guy in zone (If the safeties bite). It appears to be a money deep play, because normally you only see it in highlights when someone gets burned by it. Not saying that this means Madden got it right either, just saying that it's impossible to say definitively either way.

I can't pull this play off in Madden, I always get sacked or it gets intercepted.

The CPU tends to blitz every time I call a play like this, or a rollout, or a playaction. Either that or its a coincidence.

^^ Yes, this happens to me too, no coincidence. Unfortunately, it basically takes PA out of the game unless I move my pass blocking slider up to 70+. There should be more play action animations since the QB doesn't always turn his back to the line for 3-4 steps. We need a quicker animation to kick in when the blitz is on. There should also be a play action rating for both QBs and HBs that would cause the DBs to attack the run more with that higher rating.


Also, in that video, what's up with the QB turning all the way around for no reason? When he takes the toss from the HB, Orton is facing 11:00 and as a righty he needs to be facing 1:00 to make the throw. Rather than adjusting 20 degrees to the right, he makes a supernatural spin 340 degrees counter clockwise!?!?!
