Draft is screwed up

This is why since 2005/06, the Madden PC community (well, mostly just Spin and Gommo) took matters into their own hands and made a 3rd party drafting utility with its own logic to control Madden drafts. Some may remember that perl script a few years back that took real draft classes in real life and simulated the draft - it's based on that code. It isn't perfect itself, but it so superior to EA's coding it's sad and these guys did it for free.

EA has always been terrible at GM AI in most aspects and I have no reason or faith to believe it will ever truly change. They need to prove it.

Maybe for 2010 they can add the draft logic from Head Coach. While the drafts in Head Coach are not perfect it is the difference of night, and day to Madden. Lets just hope that we finally get a massive overhaul of Franchise that we have all been waiting for!
