Will the CPU put in my bench players?

Or what if I play the first series and then put in my second-strings, will the CPU keep em in if I sim?

I believe pre season simply rotates the depth chart. So in the first half your starters are in then it rotates to the guys behind them. So if u went the first series with your starters then manually replace them with 2nd-3rd stringers the computer would probably rotate them again at half time, putting some starters back in.

So in other words, the CPU puts in second string automatically if you leave your starters in and sim.

the cpu will put automatically put in the second string in the second half. Even if you switch out the first stringers after the first series or first quarter, if they are the backup at halftime, they will start the 2nd half.

Practically no one even knows because no one even bothers to play past a year in franchise mode with Madden anymore.
