Rate Madden 09 (360/ps3) out of 100

You said it correctly country, Madden is moving at a snails pace we will be lucky if it gets to 80 percent of it's destination by the end of this gen.... I gave it the low score of 50 because the game is just not worthy of being played this year, I haven't played it in a month and am considering selling it for the first time before the year is up....

xbox 360 = waste of money if you are an exclusive football gamer

My score is a very dissapointing.... 45 I truly wish it wasn't this bad hoping every year it is going to be better, but it never is.

Why oh why dosn't the EA guys that come here to push their game read the wish list on these forms!!...People here have come up with some excellent suggestions to make this game much better every year but EA never implements them....so sad!

Unfortunately I am going to have to give it a 40.

Where to begin. The good: I think the player models, grass and stadiums look very good.

The bad: Madden IQ is terrible and not worth using, lacking CPU sliders, player movement makes them look like robots, beyond terrible cpu AI in general and especially poor play calling. I know I am missing a few things, but overall it is not even close to being a realistic game of football like the ps2/xbox versions are.

Anyone have time to come up with a "metascore" for this thread? Sum them all up and get the average? Maybe one score that sums them all up then one score that throws out the zero point zeroes?

Thoughts
I have to wonder if people were basing their scores on a school grade scale (where 70-79, or C, is average) or on an extended 1-10 scale (where 5, or in this case 50, is average)???

70 (C- ) . It has its moments, but just to much missing feature wise (particularly franchise) and poor blocking/computer AI.
