Minor Idea

I was just looking at the video on youtube about the Speed Bursts and I was just wondering.. why doesn't Madden use the same speed system that NHL used in '08 (not sure if its in '09 or not) where there is no speed burst, its just how far in one direction u push the analog stick, meaning if u barely stick it up, ur person will jog so u can set up blocks and stuff and if u stick it all the way up he'll accelerate.

What do you guys think of this?
