Help on game freezing/dirty disc??

Hey fellas, in the first year of my franchise and the game is freezing just before my game is supposed to start up. It is getting stuck right before it goes to the outside of the stadium scene. I do have all the patches. It just locks up and if I go to practice or something like that outside of my franchise I get the disc is dirty error. Is this a problem with the system or the game? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

check the disc itself, on the very inside of the ring. Is it cracked? This is a real common problem with Madden discs, not as much this year as last but its still common. Anyone, best solution....

Rent the game from blockbuster and return your broken copy. Blockbuster no longer codes their games. Done it several times at several different blockbusters.

Huh never thought of the blockbuster idea..no I am pretty sure there is no crack in the game. It does have a couple of marks going with the circle as if it happened while spinning in the machine but nothing major. Cant imagine a retal would be in better shape than mine, it has either been in the case or in the system.
