Madden Vs. The Other Game, Size Of Players

2k5 is "the other game" I was referring to lol.... Great post by the watcher, this is what I was getting at. I would like to see the players up close due to the increased detail. They look pretty good. Now if Ian can get the interactions where they need to be, we may be able to get down to the player level.

I'd like to see a wider view, but I think Madden could get away with a default camera and a custome camera. Users wouldn't need all the other cameras if they could create them.

That is a nice angle in Madden 06. In 2K5 you could zoom the camera in all the way to to O-Line. If you wanted to, don't know why you would. Also you cant swing around the custom camera in 2K5. Which sucked. Though I guess it would of defeated the purpose of the other cams.

Yeah, I would like to see an angle similar to that 06 one.... Players look real nice. Also, a RB cam (close to backbreaker's or madden's breakaway) and a zoom to the wr during catches (to show the game within the game wr/db struggle) would be nice....

is it me or does 2k5 look as good as madden 09? lol

man i miss that game.

anyway, i to feel like the players are too big for the field. make the field wider & longer looning and make the players longer as well ala 2k
all madden players are short & fat
and in madden when you jump(besides rocket catch) it feels like your guy jumps 3 inches off the ground.

that angle is good i really hate the way runningbacks setup looks in madden there elbows are way to pointy looking and the setup looks more real in 2k5 the rb is hunched way to far over and his elbows should be angled back a slight bit not sticking straight out i think madden still uses the same stance formation.

i also think the players are still to small maybe the field needs to get bigger soo the player models do to. i dont think it is just the camera angle.

Yes,AP2k8's camera angle is far superior to Madden 09

I can't believe how good ESPN still looks 4 years later...

It's amazing what 2K sports did with that game.

And it pisses me off that EA has the NFL license locked up.
