Throwing Animations/ideas for more control on passing and catching

Hi i am just playing madden 09 a little (after some time) and just wanted to discuss some ideas i just had about the passing.

First we need some adjustments in the ball flying chart on a lop.pass he is just flying too high and on a "pressed pass" he is flying like a normal power pass.
Idea:
What would you think about some kind of power bar like in fifa 08 (or in some other games) the longer you press the harder it will fly.?

also i think how hard (long) you are pressing into a direction should make a difference...

Catching: we need alot more catching animations... a soft catch should be easyer to catch so there could be more one handed catch animations...
That 360 catch has to disappear
