I don't know man. The next gen versions may have not lived up to the lofty expectations, but I honestly do feel that the best years of the Madden franchise are yet to come.

Like I said a ton of times - Let's give the new team a realistic amount of time to show us what they've got.

I agree with your post Baumy.

I also believe the best years are yet to come...and certainly Ian and his team deserve a fair chance.

It's just that at times I can't help but to think of how frustrating the wait has been. However, the glimmer of hope as I see it is....is that Ian Cummings does seem to really care about how Madden '10' will be received. He's in my opinion, standing right at the forefront, seeming prepared to deal with any and all praise or criticism that may come. Ie...sticking his neck out and ready to take responsibility. I think we all can admire that.
