Don't buy new copies of madden, only buy it used.

yes and no.

We had the ear of the developers to where they could make small and subtle changes. The game was basically done when they got here. Plus its a new crew aboard, well new to next gen, that have a proven track record(Madden '04, '05).

So yes, they were here before the release of Madden '09, but not in the same manner that they are here now.

Madden has taken steps forward. Maybe not as many as it should, but it has taken steps forward. You even said yourself, the game went from unplayable to playable. Well, thats a step in the right direction.
