Problem With Deep Passing

Any real secrets on successful deep passing? I use the Raiders frequently and with Russell's arm I should be able to get guys but the DBs seem to bat down the ball easily. Is it a slider issue or just the way the game plays?

Its the way the game plays.

Have you tried using precision passing though?

Push up on the left analog should help.

Precision passing?

Anywho, I never really tried deep passing. But online against my mate (who I admit was new to the game) I did do some 70 yard bomb screen passes, after a couple of attempts though...

Could have been just luck combined with him not calling out a proper D though.

Re: Problem With Deep Passing

1. know the speed of your wr and know the speed of the cb... u'll want your wr to have a few points more in speed for a deep threat to be threat.

2. if the cb is playing up close to the wr then the deep threat is on... if he's playing off (5-9 yards) then dont.

3. if the first 2 are good then watch the safety on your wr's side of the ball... if he drifts over to your wr after the snap then dont throw deep... if he interacts on a diff route of freezes then throw a dummy pass away from your wr then just tap your wr's button...

4. 50 yard+ touchdown

Re: Problem With Deep Passing

You move the stick in a direction while you're throwing and it "leads" the ball in that direction a bit. Up is deeper, down is shorter, left and right are self-explanatory.

Great for deep post routes.
