Jersey colors need serious work.

From the few times I played Madden '09 I do remember that the Eagles' helmets looked way off in color. It was very noticeable. This is a pretty major detail that shouldn't get overlooked by the developers. Yeah, they should focus on gameplay, but it's hard to take Madden Seriously if they can't get the obvious details right first.

Exactly what I was thinking...As soon as someone brings up any aspect other than gameplay you get people trying to change the discussion that the tread is intended for. Anyway they need to def make sure all teams look exactly how they do on Sundays. There is no reason they shouldn't be able to get this down. Just looking at the pics that were posted in this thread you can see that even the player models don't look that great. The lower bodies do not look good at all along with all the missing accessories. But that is another conversation in itself.

Maybe the Eagles changed to a darker shade of green and EA's reference info is out of date? It's weird because you'll see pics/actual games where (despite it being a night game or something) and the jerseys look like a totally different green than what's in Madden.

...then we see pics like the one just posted and it honestly doesn't look that far off. Weird stuff.

I agree that gameplay is the number one priority, although, my guess would be that the graphics dept, and the gameplay dept, are two completely different groups, and they both need something to do.

Im just glad they finally realized the 49ers acctually have new jerseys. In old gen, they always had them wearing these rediculous faded jerseys that looked like they had sat around in the sunlight for about 30years.

On the subject about gameplay being more important and why are we discussing colors.
Like brothers mentioned in here theres more to the game than gameplay and different depts in making the game. I think we should take full advantage of EA being in this forum asking us for ideas. They just didnt say gameplay.

We beat to death on the whole gameplay aspect. A few brothers in here broke down how bad the gameplay was. We had brothers putting together some awesome ideas on how to fix it. They did such a awesome job that nothing was untouched ,and I mean nothing. We hit all marks with gameplay and presentation I might add.

So why not now talk about colors? They should be right, and if it is wrong they should fix it.
