To me, referees in Madden are an intrigal part to the game of football. Should Madden 2010 have referees on the field?

Quite frankly, if there's one thing I expect for Madden 2010 to have, it's referees on the field.

do you mean you have the same ref's for each game or teams of ref's? How do the players interact with a ref during play (collisions)?

please elaborate.

I would be happy with the same team of refs every game. They could have however many generic refs on the field and show Ed Hochuli making the calls up-close.

I would like to see the refs:

spot the ball
throw flags
huddle together to make a call
etc....

It would be cool, but let's be honest here. EA has much bigger fish to fry than that. Plus, I can see people crying and complaining the first time a ref gets in the way of the action. You know how refs sometime get in the way of a pass and it hits them in the back of the head, or a running back sometimes has to plow over them? Will people be screaming "BS!" if that happens in Madden? After all, if it's in the game, it's in the game.

Hehe......I wonder if the question "Does Madden 09 need field goal nets?" was asked in 2008......

I read somewhere that refs are going to be in 2010.
