Bring back the radio guy...

Can we see a return of the radio guy as a second broadcast option to Chris and Hamilton? I doubt it would be too difficult to bring him back and it would be nice to have two broadcast options to make games feel different.... presentation baby

Actually, why not have the Madden, Michaels PS2 09 broadcast as a 3rd option selectable? Instant presentation options...

Re: Bring back the radio guy...

^^^ exactly my sentiments.

I thought it would be cool to have a radio guy option on weekly highlights like ESPN does with football highlights during the week.

Re: Bring back the radio guy...

edited my original post ... add the ps2 madden, michaels call in there as a 3rd option!

For all those who are against, think about it, they have all this audio recorded (radio guy) just sitting around not being used... why not throw it back in to switch up the presentation from time to time...

Tony Bruno was worse than Tom Hammonds.

Bruno was nauseating to listen to. He sounded like he just sucked all the helium out of a balloon.

Re: Bring back the radio guy...

I'm all for options, but that is one option I will probably never use.

I mean... who listens to the radio if you're not in your car. I like sports-talk radio, where people offer opinions and discuss news and such, but play-by-play is ONLY if I'm in the car for 20 mins tops because I have no reason to be travelling if a game's on. It was just a stupid idea from the jump.

Re: Bring back the radio guy...

I personally never want to hear that radio guy ever again. 3 years of that was enough for me. But im all for commentary options. Here's a good question to you all:

If you could purchase supplimentary commentary packages on Xbox Live or the PSN, would you? Fifa does this already by offering commentary in tons of different languages - which works for that game becuase of its international appeal. But they do have 2 English commentary teams to choose from.

What if EA did this with Madden, where you could buy extra commentary (ie John Madden and Al Michaels, Troy Aikman and Joe Buck, Monday Night Team etc)? Sure it can be argued that this stuff should be included in the price tag of Madden, but i would still pay to hear my game being called by a number of different announcing teams.
