Tiburon layoffs?

Looks like some staff at EA Tiburon got let go. Can't be helpful in making Madden a better game this year.

Hope, Ian is still around.

Sadly, it's a sign of the times. The way things are going, I may not have to worry about how this affects Madden......I probably won't be able to afford it.

Good luck to the staffers who were let go; it's never a good thing. Hopefully, the economy will turn around, and they will get their jobs back.

Re: Tiburon layoffs?

its horrible that anyone has to lose their job in this economy. But as Segagendude stated, its unfortunately a sign of the times.

Sad news.

I've been through a few layoffs and plant closings myself...and it's tough. Best of luck to those affected.

My opinion is that EA is using the "bad economy" as an excuse to save some money. I really don't think the videogame business is hurting too bad, especially EA; They sell millions of copies of their sports games. How many of us here at OS are buying fewer games?
