Ok, is this familiar to you?
You run a PA pass, fake to the back and almost instantly the QB is flattened before you can get the pass off.
Is to me anyway, and I've worked out exactly why it happens (and it isn't genius). It's because some of your linemen will try and cut block and almost inevitably fail; the guy they're trying to cut will just leap over them. Also because the def reactions are all screwed up, even if they check the back, its for a millisecond and then they carry on to the QB.
So here's what you do. On all PA passes, Choose Pinch Protect, et voila, all sorted. The D still has to check the back for a fraction of a second, but your linemen stay upright and do their job. Ok, if there is an extra blitzer who isn't accounted for, you may still go down. In fact try it on most pass plays. It eliminates where your OT trys to block a ghost man, and the DE gets an insti-sack. Heck, you almost get a pocket to step up into.It works so well it almost feels like cheating.
(Note:- don't try it on stretch PA plays, just have everyone slide to the stretch side)
Give it a try

PASS COMMIT every play and play action passes never work. the safeties stay back
in actuality AWARENESS/tendencies should determine pass/run commit
