It means a Madden 10 disc filled with all of the commercials played during Sunday night football.

"Everything you see on Sunday, see it in Madden NFL" isn't a marketing tag line...it's a statement that we as a team came up with in order to make feature decisions. If someone came into a meeting and said "let's do big head mode - I can bring it into Madden really easily!", or "how about a mode where you collect Super Bowl tickets and trade them with each other?" - well that's not part of what you see on Sundays, so we aren't going to do it. Within these guidelines, we can focus our entire vision on realizing that we don't have to build crazy MMO-style guilds or reward system meta-games to innovate...we can innovate within the space of realism and simulation (where all EA Sports games belong).
I'm trying not to get excited here but to steal a line or two from one of my favorite all-time movies "JERRY MCGUIRE"

People who are taking that to heart and expecting that everything they see on Sunday will be in Madden 2010, are only setting themselves up for disappointment.

I think you've really hit on something CB.

I do sense a passion and possibly a new found.. "can do spirit" with the new team thats been assembled. My uneducated belief is that the Madden franchise sorely need a new team, and a new direction. In my opinion, a kind of staleness had come to the next gen system games after just four years...ie, just plain boring.

I've got a pretty good feeling a real effort is going to be made to change all that.

lets remember that nfl 2k had gameplay mastered for years before they blew out the presenation with nfl 2k5. it may be a few years before madden can perfect both.

Mastered, please. That game did some things right when it came to gameplay that madden didn't, and madden had some things right that 2k didn't. But neither game has really came close to actual football. Don't you remember the crazy trades that happened in 2k? And I'm not even going to get into the football-specifics.

I really don't understand all of this presentation, half-time show b.s. Just watch a game if you want to see that crap. I want to play a football game, not watch a broadcast of one. But since the majority of the posts have to do with presentation, and since I didn't see an actual football guy named on the team the other day, I guess I see what direction the games going.

The reason we want presentation is to give the game life.with out presentation and a deep franchise mode the game goes stale.I am a huge fan of 2K5 but it does not need to dragged into every disscussion, even though I understand why it does, its a legend amongst sports games. And the reason being is because the gameplay wasnt just good the presentation was hands down something we never witness before in any sports title. You can't have one without the other,it goes hand and hand. And when those things come together its a beautiful thing.
