Ian and Phil please fix depth charts

As I've pointed out before if a team runs a 3-4 they do NOT have a DT on the team, however there is no NT on the depth chart, a DT and Nose Tackle are completely different positions and should be reflected as such in Madden. There are also WLB's and SLB's and no ROLB or LOLB's this has been wrong for years. In a 3-4 there are LILB's and RILB's . In madden the coaching philosophy you chose should dictate the depth chart you ultimatly end up with, its a small change that would add a ton of realism.

Is there also a chance of getting the real 80 man rosters so we can make the cuts ourselves and then the rosters and free agent pool would more accuratly reflect the actual NFL?

And on some teams (like the Cards) you have the strongside LBs (LOLB) and weakside LBs (ROLB) switched around.

What do you mean switched around? SLB line up on the TE, WLB away from the TE. But not every team does this, the Bengals sam lines up to the tight when their in their stack, but to the split when their in under.

A defensive tackle is a defensive tackle, whether he lines head up (2-gapping style), or shaded (1-gap). I see what your getting at, nose tackles have a different type of skill set than 3 techniques, but the two are interchangeable. Until the game recognizes where the te is and how to set the front, it doesn't really matter what you call them, because they get flipped when you flip your front. Yes, it would be nice to have the pluggers always play on the center and the more athletic tackles always play the 3 (or 4 when in okie type defenses) and I agree with your suggestion, just not your blanket statement. Also, just because a team runs a 3-4, it doesn't mean they play a 2-gapping style, with a prototypical head up nose and head up 4 technique ends. There are some teams who play the gap control style, but with 3-4 type personnel.

Another vote for proper position identification.

Very few teams have left/right LBs, CBs, DEs, ect. Weak & strong side needs to be reflected properly. Strong Safties should line up on the strong side by default also. And there are also Flankers & Split Ends that need proper designation.

This is one of those important things I hope doesn't get by the EA staff, but I wouldn't be surprised if this task was too tall of an order for 1 year. It sucks that so many aspects of this game are "behind". I doubt this is one of their priorities, as only a few of us have complained about this.

On the Cardinals, guys like Bertrand Berry and Travis Laboy played the Predator (rush linebacker) position, which on Madden would be the ROLB. In the game however, they had them on the side covering the TE (LOLB). Likewise, Chike Okeafor and Clark Haggans play the side of the TE IRL (LOLB), but in the game are put at ROLB.

Re: Ian and Phil please fix depth charts

Let start off with having a NT for the 3-4 in the game with a Will and a Mike backers for the 3-4 inside LBS
